Nick Sexton
I’m a graphic designer based in Oklahoma City, specializing in brand identity and print production with a deep focus on physical, tactile design. My foundation was built early on in a screenprinting shop, paired with years of exhibiting work at zine fests and self-publishing art books—experiences that shaped a hands-on understanding of materials, process, and quality control.
I spent 2 years designing for a local brewery, where I tag-teamed packaging and production across beer cans, cartons, and in-store displays with my lead designer. That role strengthened my ability to think holistically about branding systems and how design lives across real-world applications at scale.
My work is heavily influenced by skateboarding culture and streetwear, filtered through a Southern and Western perspective rooted in Oklahoma. I’m drawn to rugged, gritty aesthetics with a strong sense of movement, texture, and authenticity. Much of my process begins with gestural pencil sketches and hand-drawn elements, which often carry through into final identities, bookmaking, and print-driven projects.
In addition to design, I shoot much of the photography featured in my work—documenting lifestyle moments, local skateboarding culture, and the people closest to me. This personal approach allows me to create brands and visuals that feel lived-in, honest, and human.
