Title Sequence
The goal of this project was to research a classic novel or any story that has not yet been remade into a television series or movie, and create a title sequence for the story. I chose “The Martian Chronicles” by Ray Bradbury, as it has yet to be made into any kind of film adaptation.
My video is made of entirely of archival found footage and imagery that is open to the public. To create the dystopian space aesthetic I was aiming for I researched retro home movies and old space research imagery. With the collected footage I created vintage filters, a crt tv effect, and frame by frame textures to add to the overall aesthetic.
